Unsure which version to download

I'm a plain vanilla, simple home user. Novice would be a stretch. I can't determine which version to download and use. The download section lists Spybot version 1.6 with ad-free #1,2,3. I'm using windows xp, media center edition, version 2002, service pack 3. Would someone be kind, and "gentle" enough to guide me in the right direction please?

Are you sure that you're trying to download from the Spybot site: http://www.safer-networking.org/private/

I don't see anything there about ad free versions??

Based on your "I'm a plain vanilla, simple home user. Novice would be a stretch" description, you would probably be best using the Home edition, as this will operate without you needing to do too much.

They're probably seeing that on the mirrors page.There's a selection of mirror sites that are provided ad free.This page explains it.
