Win32.downloader.gen REMOVED FROM LAPTOP
I had this virus on my new Alienware M14 laptop and COULD NOT remove it. I tried SPYBOT but it could not gain access to file to remove it.Spybot Screen Shot.jpg I tried http://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/chameleon and it found it but again could not remove it. The I tried this AWESOME program http://www.safer-networking.org/spybot2-own-mirror-3/. This program works great! Found it and removed it from laptop. I have not downloaded any torrent files using this program but I think (but not sure) the uTorrent program is the one that the Win32.downloader.gen attacked my laptop from, within the download its self. SO BE CAREFUL OF TORRENT DOWNLOADS! I DO NOT RECOMMEND downloading different Maleware tools to TRY and remove these viruses, as you may end up with more viruses installed! I GOT LUCKY! HATS OFF TO SAFER NETWORKING! You guys/gals are truly on top at saving infected pc's. THANKS!
