Are sites that disseminate CryptoLocker ransom ware being blocked by Spybot Immunize in Hosts?

Have there been any Cryptolocker attacks documented as coming from visits to bad websites,redirects or "good" websites that have been hacked?
I am under the impression that most Cryptolocker attacks come from attachments in e-mails,some of which may be quite clever(like fake messages (not) "from" businesses that you are known to patronize)
as the operators make lots of money will the malware evolve to become more and more capable of spreading by other means?
