    Default SpyBot Pop Up Prompts

    SpyBot S&D.jpg

    Hi

I'm new here and was wondering if anyone can help me to stop SpyBot popping up on my screen to tell me things? It dies it every couple of nights, usually around 12:30am and if I'm watching a movie, it can be seriously disruptive ;-)

I've posted a screenshot to show what I mean.

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this question.

    Never mind.

I'll uninstall the software. Thanks for all your "help".

I remember looking at your post awhile ago.It must have slipped past me amongst other posts.I'm sorry it was missed,it wasn't intentional.
12:30 a.m. is the time set for my monthly spybot scheduled scan, and I *think* that might be default, since I don't remember changing it.
Since Spybot is opening the scan window every couple of days to remind you to scan and it's around 12:30 a.m.-ish,it's possible there's some sort of variation of that task in your task scheduler.
If you're using a later version of windows, click start, type task scheduler in the search programs and files box,and click it when it appears.Open the task scheduler library, open Safer-networking if it's present, then click Spybot-Search&Destroy.
Click the Scan the System task listed there, then click disable.

That might stop the Spybot prompts to scan every couple of days.
