    Default Win7 updates

Why does my WinXP SB have 140122-1235 txt and 140122-2133 log dated 1/22/2014 and my Win 7 SB only have 140115-2047 txt and 140115-2059 dated 1/15/2014? And tells me I have the latest updates when I check?
I thought SB has same updates to each cinoyter, Why is one update diffrernt from another for WinXP and Win7?
    Can someone explain?

My vista updated to 140119-1727 amd 1401199-1744 dated 1/19/2014

What are the names of the logfiles? Are they called something along the lines of checks140115-2047.txt or fixes140115-2047.txt?

What you listed above appear to be the dates appended to the logfile, not what the logfiles are called.I need to know that information before I can give an answer. Please look again and let me know what each logfile is called.

I don't know what is going on! I just looked at my Win7 SB and now see:
checks 149123-1635.log checks 140123-1635 txt. But it doesn't say "Congratulation...etc."
I haven't touched a thing to download or to run a scan and don't know why this is showing now. Something weird indeed.

It sounds like you're looking at the checks.logfiles, which show the results of your Spybot scans, and don't indicate updates. To confirm that, please let me know where you are seeing the logfiles.

I'm looking in the Reports View. I don't know where you want me to look.

Yes,that's it.I wanted to know the locations of the logfiles.
Okay, the date appended at the end of the checks.logfiles is the date of when you did a Spybot scan, and don't indicate when Updates were downloaded. So,there is no need to worry.
If you want to know when updates were downloaded, then you would scroll through Reports, locate the Updates.logfile, doubleclick it,and scroll through and have a peek.
