    Default Update FAILS?

1/ The "info box" which appears when I hover over the Spybot icon in the task bar - it permanently states
"More than 8 days since last update!" - despite having visited and complied with the latest update section.
This is quite concerning... as is: -
2/ Every time I attempt to "Immunize" and go through the process... subsequent re-opening of the window implies no immunization has been applied.
I find both the above occurrences suspicious...

    You're welcome.
Spybot Search & Destroy - Version 2.0.12.0 is an older version.I remember at the time it was out that immunization showed as 0 when you reopened it,unless you clicked check system:
    http://forums.spybot.info/showthread...ion-won-t-save

If you uninstall the version you have and then download the newer version,it shouldn't do that anymore:

If you do download the newer Spybot, once it's installed checkmark advanced mode, then click Update, then click the Update button at the top of the screen. That should Update to the latest definitions, and you should hopefully be good to go.
