    Post I don't have knowledge in rootkits

    To whom it may concern,

    I have a result of rootkit scan from SpyBot.

    Type: Folder
    Object: BigFishCacheox
    Location: C:/
    Details: Invisible to Win32

    Type: Folder
    Object: DATA
    Location: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\OFFICE
    Details: No Admin in ACL


    Type: Key
    Object: LogonSoundPlayed
    Location: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\
    Details: No Admin in ACL

    Type: Key
    Object: Vol
    Location: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Security Center\Svc\
    Details: No admin in ACL


    Any Malware from the results? Anyone can tell me? How can I know if it is malicous.

    Hello johnmergene,

    In general all items found by the RootAlyzer are not necessarily malicious but will show items which it believes to be out of the ordinary and may give a hint for an infection.

    Do you use a game by BigFish?

    How is the computer running in general.
