    Bud,

    Lets do a few things

    1.

    1. Open Chrome
    2. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
    3. Click on Settings
    4. Then Manage Search Engines
    5. Highlite Conduit and select Delete

    2.

    • Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
    • Select Settings.
    • Scroll down to Show advanced settings...
    • Down on the bottom you will see an option for RESET BROWSER SETTINGS
    • Click on it and it will set Chome back to defaults

Then download and run AddCleaner again

    -AdwCleaner-by Xplode

Click on this link to download : ADWCleaner
Click on ONE of the Two Blue Download Now buttons That have a blue arrow beside them and save it to your desktop.

Do not click on any links in the top Advertisment.

    • Close all open programs and internet browsers.
    • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
    • Click on Scan.
    • After the scan is complete click on "Clean"
    • Confirm each time with Ok.
    • Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
    • Please post the content of that logfile with your next reply.
    • You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S1].txt as well.

    Default Firefox

    Thanks Ken

I use Firefox more often but I do like Chrome. I never use IE except for Windows Update. I updated to the new Firefox almost a week ago.
I will just keep an eye on things here.

Chome <-- This is my default browser and I really like it. Just dont use Internet Explorer as there is a new vulnerability that targets IE users and Microsoft has not issued a patch for it yet

Firefox has a new version that you may like also, both these browsers are more secure than IE
