    Default spybot using almost 70% of cpu

    I just installed Spybot S&D (paid for, Pro edition) on my Win 7 64 bit system and whammo ! No cpu left. Task manager tells me that SDOnAccess (real time protection) plus SDTray *32 are burning 68% of CPU time and all the other Windows parasites (dwm, svchost etc) are burning the rest. I can get no useful work done. If I leave the system overnight, it will drop to 90% idle, but the moment I start an app I lose all my CPU again. It's taken 40 mins just to type this having started FireFox. This is terrible. Is this forum the only support channel ? Can anyone help me fix this ?
