    Default spybot question

I have a Compaq Presario CQ56 laptop computer, running Windows 7. I have downloaded the free Spybot.

It now tells me I must have an "administrator" to get rid of problems. I'm the owner, and I don't know where I tell my computer I'm an administrator.

How do I get around or work through this problem? Is there a way of telling Spybot it doesn't need to ask for an "administrator" ?

Is there a way to tell my computer I'm an "administrator" ?

Would appreciate help on working through this problem.

You can rightclick the Spybot icon on the desktop, and select Run As Administrator.
This will tell you a little more about UAC:
