Question on this forum: Do I get an email when someone replies to my thread?

Is there a checkbox somewhere that I need to check to get an email when I get a reply to my thread?
Or do I need to keep going back to my profile/activity to see if there are any answers?
LOL. If someone replies here and I get an email, I guess I'll know the answer.
