    Question Help / Cleaner Module

    Time to bogie again!

    1. I open help in Start Center.
    2. I see and open Modules/Cleaner
    3. I read this:

    Cleaner
The Cleaner module can remove malware where other approaches sometimes fail.
On reboot it can clean using previous scan results eliminating the need to scan again.
It can also use other cleaning mechanisms like the new WinLogon and Native Mode cleaners.
    4. I go to Offer to elevate privileges during cleaning. And Notice this text,
Spybot offers to elevate the Cleaner to full administrator privileges
Link "Cleaner" points to the previous text "The Cleaner module can...".

    5. I check my services for S&D. 3 services started: SDScannerService, SDWSCService and SDUpdateService. (system canning is going on in background).
    6. I fill in the box You have the password of an administrator account. I get instant response: "You should continue by elevating."

    ??? Where do I elevate? ???

I rather Levitate... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLmLY0Dbp_Q Follow the instructions!

lol!Levitating does sound more fun than elevating.

Could you tell me at what point you see the prompt for the administrator password?
sdcleaner usually runs after a Spybot System Scan when something can't be fixed, offers to run at your computer startup, and would show in task manager under processes as sdcleaner.exe, and wouldn't be viewable in Services.
SDScannerService,SDWSCService and SDUpdateService are separate from it.
