[Issue 062] Cannot complete immunization.

About 6 months ago, I had my Windows ME reinstalled on my PC. Since then there are 5 problems that cannot be blocked.

Whenever I update the software I immunize, and I get the response: I have “3396 products blocked, and 5 additional protection possible” I keep immunizing, checking but with the same results.

-I am almost positive my account has Admin rights on the computer. (How can I check?)
-I am not running any conflicting software on your list (I have Avast Anti-virus).
- I have a dell Desktop, which is about 4 years old… I am the only user.

After reading some posts, I un-immunized and then re-immunized (I did not reboot or anything) and now I have 3395 blocked and 6 additional protections possible…

Yikes… if I do that 3395 more times will I not have anything blocked?

Don't worry about it!!!

There is a bug in immunization counting routine within Spybot-S&D 1.4 that indicates that six (6) or even sometimes twelve (12) items are not being immunized. This problem occurs in Windows 9x or Windows ME systems. If you are getting the following message on a Windows ME system after the 2006-09-08 updates, it is normal although not correct:

• Warning
  3395 bad products already blocked, 6 additional protections possible. Please immunize.
