    Default MediaGet Torrent Trojan?

    Hello Spybot memebers,

I am using a torrent client called MediaGet.
Spybot says that this is a Trojan but I am using the program for a long time and never had problems with it.

Hi, could you please post the checks.txt of the scan so that we can see the rules that caused this? Thank you.

Hi again, I found the rules and the installation behaviour of P2P.MediaGet was that of a typical unwanted program (PUPS, PUP, PU.). I do not know if this classification actually existed when the rules were added, but still the rules are valid. We might change the calssification to PUPS though. If you like the program and do not want it to be detected by Spybot, you can add it to Spybot's Ignore List. (Settings -> Ignore Lists -> Products) Thank you.
