Question bitdefender error when stopping scanner service

Every time I restart my computer or stop the "scanner service" in the system services in SSD+AV 2.4 I get this error "A problem has occured in BitDefender Threat Scanner. A file containing the error has been created at C:\Windows\TEMP\BitDefender Threat Scanner.dmp. You are strongly encouraged to send the file to the developers of the application for further investigation of the error." I'm not sure how I got this error and I have never installed "BitDefender" on my system. Not sure what's going on.

I get the exact same error. I DID have bitdefender installed but decided I did not like it and removed it. Since then spybot gives me the same error message each time I reboot.
The only way I have found to remove the error message is to uninstall Spybot.

It has become quite obvious that this message is being generated by the Spy Bot S&D version 2 program. I have the licensed professional version. After going through my computer with a fine tooth comb and removing anything related to bit defender in the Files, and registry, I still get the error. Funny since I never even installed Bitdefender to begin with. Today I noticed after running update I had two new files in the C:\windows\temp\ folder. One was related to SB S&D update data. The other was a bitdefender update file that was bigger than the Spybot considerably. It had all the updates listed I downloaded this morning. Coincident I seriously doubt it. You have Bitdefender incorporated into your Spy Bot application. I have already come across this same information ater countless hours to remedy this problem. I am quite pissed to say the least that you did this. Now how about a fix for a problem you created. Like the warning message I get every time I shut down about bitdefender threat scanner created a dump file in my windows temp folder. I purchased Spy Bot, if I wanted Bitdefender I would have bought it. But this is too much. I hope you have the fix for this annoyance.
