Default Cannot install Spybot - redirect error

When I try to install Spybot I get the error message

    Error sending request
A redirect request will change a non-secure to a secure connection.

I tried in regular and safe mode. I do have some kind of malware on the computer
    Thanks for any help

Certain infections may prevent security software from being installed, do you know what kind of malware it is?

What is your operating system and do you have an anti virus program installed?

    Kind regards.

It sounds like Spybot may not have been reinstalled correctly during the upgrade process to Windows 10. Please uninstall and reinstall Spybot using the instructions below to see if this solves your issue.

Please go to our uninstall tool page at:
    https://www.safer-networking.org/sup...ninstall-tool/

    Here, download all 3 files; "unins000.exe", "unins000.msg" and "unins000.dat".

These will download to your Downloads folder or other default location.

Copy these files to your Spybot program folder at:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Spybot - Search & Destroy 2

    or for 32-bit PCs:
    C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy 2

Once these have been copied, run "unins000.exe" (the one in your Spybot program folder) as an administrator to remove any traces of Spybot from your PC.

You can then download Spybot 2.4 from the link below:
    http://spybot-mirror.com/files/spybot-2.4.exe

This can be upgraded to version 2.5 by running the "Post Windows 10 Spybot-install" file on your Desktop. This file can then be deleted.

    Default Never installed

Using Windows 7. Never installed so uninstall not necessary. No folder in Program Files.
New download link from spybot and not bleeping computers seems to work.
