    Default Removal of Montera.Toolbar

Spybot is reporting that I have the montera.toolbar and is saying that it is fixing the problem, but it comes back every time I run a scan. Do you have a way of permanently removing it please?

    Hello johnsimmons,

    Did you elevate Spybot's permissions?

    1. Right-click the Spybot - Search & Destroy entry in your start menu, instead of just left-clicking to start it.
    2. Choose Run as administrator from the context menu.

If the issue doesn't resolve please start a new topic in the Malware Removal Forum and a volunteer analyst will advise.

First see that forum's FAQ which also includes instructions in post #2 on how to provide the logs from Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and aswMBR, which are the logs used in the preliminary analysis.
