    Default Can't Update Anti-Virus

    I have Spybot 2.4.40 Professional Edition. When I update, everything updates as normal EXCEPT for the Anti-Virus panel. The legend at the top of the panel says it's updating, but there's no progress bar and the colored bar in the left margin of the panel stays blue. The dialog heading says that updates are available.

    I have just upgraded (actually, I was tricked to upgrade) to Windows 10. I have already run the utility Spybot provided for running after the Windows upgrade. I have done a full system scan (presumably for spybots only) and everything was fine.
