How to Update?

I try to do a SystemScan
It takes me to a new window which tells me I have Missing Signatures with a button to Update. I click on it, it opens a new window and there is something that looks like it is loading files, then a message appears at the top saying "Your computer has no signatures installed yet!" with a further messahe "There are updates available!"

So I click on that Update button and a box opens blow "Checking for antispyware updates..."
...which does nothing....for hours...

How do I get this taken care of so I can try this product???
