    Default Updating home full version problem

    Hi, just went thru Malware removal of zblob trojan with a member of spybot & during process he asked me to uninstall spybot to see why I kept getting 2 host files - he then determined spybot was OK with it's host file & told me to reinstall thru link he provided, which I did, but antispyware has errors & is not updating, the entire update is yellow vs. green color. I could copy error message if need be - this is 2nd time I have uninstalled then reinstalled & have retrieved my license & ran post Windows 10, as that is what I'm using. Please, any assistance appreciated, as system is not being updated or scanned, I could use Windows defender, but don't want to cause more problems. I was told by spybot "tech" person my system before trying to reload spybot was malware free.

    Thanks for the info will print out for future use if this doesn't work. Heard from Rob @ Spybot & he told me how to try updating again & so far it worked. Have had lots of issues - urg! I appreciate all the info & the help.
