Installation directory
Spybot does not entirely install to the selected directory. If you select a drive that is not your Windows drive you will find some files will go to your Windows drive in a directory with a matching name. This is caused by programming mistakes in Spybot. Either the Windows drive gets used or worse, it could be directly using the C drive. You find there is a file called SDAV.dll on both drives with different file sizes. There is get message from Bitdefender that this causes. Could someone check the Spybot source code for mistakes with the installation directory?
