How to transfer 100 GB+ data from one PC to another?

Hi Guys,

I want to transfer 100+ gb data from my Vista laptop to win 7 desktop. Normal methods like USB stick or external hard disk has very poor transfer rate. I tried following http://www.tufitech.com/how-to/fastest-way-to-transfer-files-from-pc-to-pc/ but max speed I got was 36 Mbps but it dropped drastically after that. Can you please help me? It's urgent.
