Default Question about Chrome and pop up ads

Recently, I have experienced popup ads every time I click on a site now while using chrome. This has just started recently. I have spybot pro and also malewarebytes, ran full scans and everything came out clean.

I have even tried an ad blocker but it doesn't seem to work.

I am ready to completely take chrome out, but wanted to check here first to see if anyone else uses chrome and has noticed an increase in pop up adds.

I will be watching this post. My pop up ad is titled "PC Support" I have tried several fixes although, nothing seems to be working. My Spybot software does not detect it.

    Hello,

Muskett, PC Support pop-ups may be caused by an ad-supported extension for Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome and fall under Optional Installs

Please see the Malware Removal Forum sticky which includes guidelines and instructions in post #2 on how to provide the logs from Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and aswMBR, which are the logs used in the preliminary analysis.

    http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288

Then start a new topic in that forum providing the logs so a volunteer analyst can assist.

Suemarie, you could also start a topic in the malware forum so that someone can take a look at the system.

    Best regards.
