I always get "0 results", I don't trust that

We have 2 computers, I run Spybot on both of them. On the desktop PC, the scan usually returns a number of results, all in the "green" category, I click "fix" selected, that's fine.

On my laptop, I always, always get "0 results". It makes me think it's not working correctly. Any advice?

Both are running Windows 7.

Oh sorry - free edition, version 2.4.40.0.

The laptop seems mostly OK. It's been a little glitchy lately but I have attributed it to the fact that Microsoft installed Windows 10 as a sneaky overnight update and I forced it to uninstall. That caused a problem or two I had to run down. The internet seems pretty normal, everything else seems normal. I use Avast Free Antivirus.
