MIssing ICON on bottom line for Spybot

Have just update my free Spybot to Home Licensed edition I cannot find the ICON on the bottom line showing that Spybot is "running" that was there when it was the free version. Is there setting , that I haven't found, that needs to be set ......guidance appreciated please.

What is the operating system please.

Have you customized the Notification Area to select which icons and notifications appear on the taskbar?

Thanks for the Update the OS is XP.............yes I know it's old but it works.
After all the effort the Icon has now appeared in the bottom line after a couple of updates and restarts.
Possibly the whole package was still settling down and is now happily working in it's "universe".
I think I call this an end to the question and thank you for consideration.....bye
