    Default uptodateprotection homepage

Hello, I'm having trouble fixing a problem of mine.

I have sucessfully removed most of my problems with Spybot S&D, however I remain with one problem:

My homepage continues to forward me to hxxp://uptodateprotection.com

But Spybot doesn't seem to detect any remaining problems.

I've been trying to research solutions to this problem, but have found none.

    I'd appreciate any help, Thanks.

Sorry about that, I had no intention of encouraging anyone to visit the above page-- definitely do not.

In any case, I have managed to solve my problem using another program.

    Thanks.

Hey, I have the same problem. Could you please tell me what you used it fix it in the end? I got a whole host of bugs at once and cleaned most of them (or at least their symptoms) with a combination of Symantec AV, Lavasoft Ad-Aware, Ewido, AVG and Spybot S&D... but that stupid homepage hyjack and occassional popups still haunt me.

    Cheers!

    Hello Jupes.

To remove uptodateprotection we need to see a log in the malware forum please as certain tools will be used.

Follow the instructions in this sticky topic:
