    Which anyone reading this should do - As of November 2017 I can confirm that 2.6 still has this issue with Windows 7 Home.

    Just registered to add another data-point of users having this issue.

    And that replacing the .dll does not work - at all. In my case this shows up, some times multiple occurrences on shut-down.

    Some folks in the other thread seemed to feel that they were the only few people having this issue. That's not true. The overwhelmingly vast majority of folks will simply uninstall and get on with their day without bothering to report the problem.

    That didn't work. None of the work around's have worked.

    I'm not sure if it's been fixed yet, since the workaround did work for me. I don't recall seeing anything posted about a fix anywhere, though, and sometimes such things are posted in the news section.
    Since none of the workarounds worked for you, you could contact Spybot support if you'd like, and see if they have a fix yet:
