    No I don't.

    All that command prompt stuff goes over my head. I tried the clear clipboard shortcut but it didn't work.

    I don't think it's related to malware but, I'll try to help you and research how we might be able to fix this

    I think it might be the USB ports. Thanks for trying to help.

    Do you have any advice for an anti-virus? I just use MSE. Is it worth buying Malware Bytes? What about Avast etc?

    As for which free versus paid for Antivirus I have to leave this up to you but, I've always stayed with a free version, that use less resources and consumes less time in updating. This is my personal opinion and also with free versions of Antivirus, firewall is not included.

    Malware Bytes is a malware scanner only at this time. The Premium version has added features to aid in protection the free version doesn't.
    They are re-working Malware Bytes to improve and add even more goodies that will be available soon. So that decision is your.
