    Default Editing Whitelist & Blacklist

When you get the message, "Registry change denied due to your
Blacklist" and "Registry change allowed due to your Whitelist", I
presume that the referenced whitelist and blacklist had been created
when you checked the box "Remember this decision in future".

What if you want to change your mind? Is there a way to access the
whitelist and blacklist and make changes?

    Thanks! --Matt

Default list is not in the Tea Timer

My blacklist is not available in tea timer. I see it under tools/residents but I am not able to change anything.
What do I have to delete /uninstall so that the programms on the blacklist run again. (It was my fault , but I need a solution )

    Thanks for your support

Thumbs up Removing items from your Blacklist / Whitelist Tutorial

Here is a step by step guide to removing items from your "Whitelist" and "Blacklist"

    1) Right click on your "TeaTimer" icon, in the systray:

    2) Select the "Settings" option:

    3) You will see the following screen:

    4) From here, choose which section you require. For this example i will choose "Allowed Registry Changes"

    5) Once you choose your section, you will see a list of changes either allowed or not allowed:

    6) Click on the cross next to the item you wish Spybot to prompt for in future:

(Note: You may have to make this window larger in wdth to see the cross - thanks cvincent)

    7) The item should disappear, just click "OK". Job done!

    Default still not working

Thanks for your answer! My problem is that there is nothing listed in the tea timer so that I can not change anything. There are just some information in the area Tools/Residents. Do you have another idea? I don't know how to go on!

    Thanks Karlo

can you copy and paste what it says in the main window when you are viewing "Tools > Resident" ?

Do you have the TeaTimer enabled?

If you cannot see the icon in your systray, this means that it isn't running.

Browse to your Spybot program folder
    Find the file named "teatimer.exe"
Double click to run this file

    ALTERNATE:

    Open Spybot
Click "Mode" from the menu at the top
    Choose "Advanced"
From the bottons on the left, choose "Tools"
From the available options, press "Resident"
Make sure there is a tick on the box titled:
'Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of over-all system settings) active.'

Now you should see the icon in the bottom right?
