    Hi guys and thanks for your help in advance.

    I have the pipas.A virus. I read up in this forum somewhere that running hijack this and posting the logfile may assist you in telling me what to remove, as im new to this.

    I hope this is how the trojan is removed.

    My IE homepage has been changed and if i click on links it redirects to pages i dont want, also it redirects to google searches as well.

    Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

    Run ATF Cleaner
    Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
    Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
    Click the Empty Selected button.
    Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

    Restart the computer and post a new HJT log, and let's hope the wareout junk is gone. Let me know how the computer is running now.

    I'm unsure about the two programs you asked about. Lemmings i think is fine, as for "toolbar & google" i dont know.

    I apologize for confusing you, of course the Google toolbar is fine, I could not get my work done without it. I put it there to tell you about the (file missing) but posted it in red a little later. With that missing file the software may not be working right, and it may not be working at all. If you use the toobar/popup blocker, I would download it again.

    System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
