    Default Access detection dialogs

I am getting 150- 200 "On access detection dialogs" appearing in the process box of Task Manager! Why is this? The computer is struggling to start, it can take up to ten minutes, and many blue screens, to get going. The memory indicates that only half remains for any other software to use. I don't know whether or not I should try to delete them- really too many to do manually! They come back anyway!

    Hello Jampit,

What is the operating system please.

Also, which version and edition of Spybot do you have: https://www.safer-networking.org/private/

Could you take a screenshot of the issue.

    Best regards.

    Default Access detection dialogs

I am using Windows 8.1, Spybot Home edition .
I am having difficulty trying to get a screenshot. The system has almost frozen- the 'Classic Start Menu' will not load at present and I cannot select any other software hence not possible to run anything.

    Default Access detection dialogs

Also desktop is not showing the usual tiles! This browser was open before most recent partial freeze.

    Strange.

To clarify, the "On access detection dialogs" were all attributed to Spybot?

Please see the following, (thank you Zenobia).

    SDONACCESS.exe
"This is a Spybot file associated with Live Protection. When Live Protection is enabled, it will scan processes which attempt to run on your PC before they are allowed to execute. The “SDONACCESS.exe” file is responsible for this.

When a file or program is run on a PC with Live Protection, SDONACCESS.exe will scan this file, and will allow the program to run if it does not detect a threat or malware."

    https://www.safer-networking.org/faq/sdonaccess-exe/

What Forum should I ask about SDONACCESS.exe? Why so many are running concurrently.

You could open a support ticket: https://www.safer-networking.org/sup...ket/technical/

    Best regards.

    Angry access detection dialogs -again

I am still having the same problem with several hundred 'on access dialogs'. The links suggested do not allow me to get a ticket!!
The latest screen shot shows 300 processes most of which are 'On Access Protection dialogs'
This has been going on too long and I will have to uninstall Spybot- very annoying as it has proved a total waste of money!

I suggested you open a ticket in January, please clarify what happened when you clicked on the link to do so.
