I just got this minor scare, seeing lots of traffic routing through 007guard.com

Only to discover, after hours of digging while tired, it is due to the way Spybot immunizes the Hosts file.

Because 007guard becomes the alphanumerically first entry for 127.0.0.1, all traffic there shows up as traffic to 007guard.com

Add to your immunization list the following line, and no-one will ever face this issue again:

000_localhost_SDprotected

or some such... anything is better than getting that scare. Just lead off with three zeros, or anything lower than 007, anyway, and it will stop the darn 007guard.com scare from ever happening again.
