Cannot Install Live Protection
I just bought this license for Spybot 2 + AV for 3 computers. On my laptop it installed fine but said live protection was off. No problem, I click on install, advanced settings and it gives me an error saying that the driver cannot be installed. Okay I did a search and found out some are reinstalling to get it to work, okay so I redownload from the link in my email and same thing happened; I cannot turn on live protection. Is this some kind of joke? So I take the computer to the store for warranty check and they find absolutely nothing wrong with it but charge me 108.24 to reinstall windows as a last resort check on things.
So I am now out all this money trying to get spybot to install and get what I paid for...Really guys? Stop saying you have live protection if all that you offer in reality is a scanner that must be manually scanned at ALL TIMES for anything to be done.
(add in) After reinstalling now a third time I guess my licenses are used up...real neat. Now I am getting an error trying to update antivirus, doesn't say what the error is just that there is one when trying to update the anti-virus. For those who want to blame this on computer, this is an ASUS ROG STRIX 17 inch with the new NVidia 1070 so it is not just some run of the mill laptop. It is an expensive piece of equipment that I wanted to have solid protection for having just bought it. Spybot used to be a solid piece of malware and antivirus, I guess things have changed in the last year.
