Default read what to do, here is my hjt

Besides the other popus I am getting, when I first log on, an ie settings update window tries to open up.. I forgot to mention that.

Also, when trying to restart in Safe Mode, I could not start in any of the Safe Mode Options. That is really bothersome to me.

I did a Panda scan and have that the log from that if needed.

    Here is my hjt log:

    Default Still gett6ing popups

I did as asked, however in the second box you asked me to check, nsg12DF.dll was replaced with nsbA1.dll, and the file nsg12DF.dll was not in the system32 directory. I left the line alone, and you can see it in the hijack this list.

I am still getting popups and popunders.

    Here is my list:

Default Still getting popups and unders but read this

Here is step by step what I did before posting this.

    1. Ran hijack this.
    2. item 02 program (nsbA1.dll) was not there but, but same address with (nsx77.dll) was in its place. Did it change names?
    3. Checked the 02 line anyway and 'adstart' line for fixing, and clicked fix.
    4. Restarted and went to nsxdll and deleted it from system 32.
    5. Restarted again.
    6. Went to internet, more popups.
    7. Ran HJT and iesettingsupdate was back.
    8. Deleted it with HJT,restarted, went to internet, more popups.
    9. Ran HJT and iesettingsupdate was there again.
    10. Deleted it with HJT and restarted.
    11. Did not go internet, but ran HJT to see if it iesettingsupdate was back and it was not!
    12. Went to internet (roadrunner, by the way) and popups appeared again.
    13. Ran HJT and iesettingsupdate was back.
    14. Looks like it somehow comes back when I log onto the internet, but was not there until I did.
    15. Ran HJT and here is what I have:

By the way, does the last line with (file missing) hurt anything? Also, I typed in iesettingsupdate on a google search and saw a few forums that said something about windows defender ineterferring with HJT. Do i need to do anything about that? Thanks.

    Thats was my next suggestions

    Open Windows Defender.
    Click on Tools, Settings.
In the left pane, click on Real-time Protection.
Under Startup Options uncheck Enable real-time spyware threat protection (recommended).
click on the Save button and close Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Right click on the Windows Defender icon on the taskbar and select Shutdown Windows Defender.

    Fix these items with hijackthis

Check for problems with SptBot S&D fix anything found then run MS antispyware and have it take recommended actions, be a good idea to also run a full scan with your updated antivirus program..
