Slow shutdown since buying and installing Spybot AV

Hi all,

I recently bought Spybot AV and am beginning to get used to it.

It seems great except that the shutdown time of my win10 system is now very slow. around 2 and a half minutes as opposed to around 10 seconds as it was before.

I searched but haven't seen this raised here before. I found some generic slow shutdown solutions online, the easiest of which I tried to no avail, but nothing that specifically related to Spybot AV as my problem has to be - (nothing else was changed).
