    ok maybe i was too soon to criticize...he directed me to a new dl of w10 which is d'loading now. it seems my ver. was outdated and he directed me to a new dl that won't freeze up. i'll stay in touch.

    I've been keeping up with replies in that forum too, I also have in the past helped at the Microsoft malware forums but not lately.
    Let's hang in there and see if thats our answer.

    well i had hopes it may be but looking like a dead end. not getting replies now from dave, he may be digging up a solution though...waiting to see. again windows 10 installed but then it updates and again it froze and didn't install :(

    Other then that the only thing I can think of is to System File Checker tool
