Default Casale Media and fix selected freeze issue

Been aggressively scanning against Casale Media now for 3months. Constantly have issues with freeze on fix selected, and I suspect malware from Casale Media is key logging and blocking the scan.

While Casale research indicates it isn't aggressive, its a portal for malware, especially key loggers, to get codes we can't afford to share.

I flush history often, retain nothing, and scan scan scan. It will not go away.
The places that address removal are always trying to sell you some security product, which is from a not trusted source. In other words be very wary.

Can you address how risky this Casale Media is and how to remove it for good?

My computer is used for core business, little web browsing. Not even on line 98% of time.

CasaleMedia should be a tracking cookie. After a Spybot scan, if you click on Show Details in the lower right corner, then click on the CasaleMedia entry with your mouse pointer, it should show in the details pane on the lower left that it's Estimated Danger is Marginal, so quite low threat.

Perhaps what might be happening in your case is not related to the casalemedia cookie, some people have been getting Not Responding when Spybot is fixing problems:

I think in some cases it might be a graphics issue, whereby the items are being fixed, but the program shows as "Not Responding", but when some people re-scan then only a few problems are found, indicating the items actually are fixed. I am unsure if that happens in all cases, though.

There is an article on how to block third-party cookies here:

There is an article online here on how to clear cookies in a few browsers. You could do that if you're unable to get the Spybot scan to fix the cookie:
    https://www.digitaltrends.com/comput...elete-cookies/
There are varied instructions there, some show how to clear cookies individually, though a few show how to clear all cookies.
