Default Looking for a good laptop?

    Hi

I'm looking at replacing my 4 year old desktop with a new laptop as I'm looking for something more portable. I need it to have some power but not be super expensive - I've got a budget of £800 which can potentially stretch a little more. What are your suggestions? I'm going to have a look around some electronics stores near me and see if I find anything, but some suggestions of good brands/models to look for beforehand would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone around? Had a poke around and have a list of a few different computer hardware places, thinking of going this weekend before I pull the trigger on anything online.

    Hello Brentel,

You could post at a site that has hardware forums and volunteer techs.
