    Default subscription

    Please help.
I came to look at my membership with the aim of checking my subscription ending date..... only to find that I do not seem to have one.
I know I am aged but I did not think that my memory was that bad. I could have sworn I had a HOME subscription.....
Can anyone confirm what has happened for me please?

Are you speaking of your forum membership or software license for Spybot?

    Hello madcap378,

To check your Spybot - Search & Destroy edition:

    • Open the Spybot Start Center.
    • Click on Show Details in the bottom right corner of the Start Center.
    • Under the Spybot logo on the top left corner of the Start Center, you should see the Spybot edition written in blue writing.
    • If you are a licensed user you should also have +ANTIVIRUS written in red writing.

For more information on your Spybot Edition and License, you can click the blue writing which will open the License Overview window.

    Does that help?

    Best regards,
    tashi

Tashi - thank you for that. It has been so long since I looked at it and yes, I do have all that you pointed out. Could you please advise about Subscription. I thought it was an annual sub as such and I had mine slotted for renewal in Jan 2019 - has subscriptions changed and become donations now? Or perhaps this silly old woman has got it all wrong and maybe regarded donation as an annual sub to ensure my support to SPYBOT ..... or am i just plain silly?

and saying that I went to my license page and can see that it expires in sep 2019. So i am silly only in that I have the date incorrect. I guess I got confused when moving states. Does Spybot send me a license expiry and renewal notificiations? thanks again

    Hello Madcap378,

You'd receive a renewal prompt, just in case it might be a good idea to write the date on a calendar.

    Best regards.
