I am using Firefox on Windows 10.

It is virtually unusable as tabs keep opening, well over a 100 since it started. Other tabs keep opening up also, www. videoadult. club and chanelets.aurning.com.

Spybot can't find anything. McAfee can't find anything but it does stop the "windows" page from opening now.

I tried malwarebites, that can't find anything.

I restarted the PC and it happened again.

I would be grateful for any assistance.

Thanks (I am in the UK)

I've tried to quickly research this and it would appear to be an active JS (Java Script) on your browser.

For a quick fix (hoping it works for what we need to do), download and install the below extensions so we can attempt to work with a couple of tools with out interference, you can remove later,

NoScript is a Firefox add-on that blocks the actions of malicious scripts by using whitelisting and other technology.
AdBlock is a browser add-on that blocks annoying banners, pop-ups and video ads

Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) Scan
    • Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (x32) or Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (x64) andsave the file to your Desktop.
    • Note: Download and run the version compatible with your system (32 or 64-bit). Download both if you're unsure; only one will run.
    • Right-Click FRST.exe / FRST64.exe and select Run as administrator to run the programme.
    • Click Yes to the disclaimer.
    • Ensure the Addition.txt box is checked.
    • Click the Scan button and let the programme run.
    • Upon completion, click OK, then OK on the Addition.txt pop up screen.
    • Two logs (FRST.txt & Addition.txt) will now be open on your Desktop. Copy the contents of both logs and paste in your next reply.
