Hello, I deleted the remaining programs from my computer. Do you also recommend that I delete Spybot? If I do, what else should I be using? Sysnative also said to delete Avast and that all I need is the built in Windows Security. What's your take on this? Thank you.

This kinda puts me on the spot, the people at the other forum are knowledgeable people that help with problem computers.

Try uninstalling Avast first, then allow Windows Security/Windows Defender to update and protect. Make sure Windows Firewall is running as well.
If you feel after giving that a try you need something different you can always re-download Avast to your machine.
But test it, see if you have improvements.

Sorry, didn't mean to put you on the spot. Does Windows Defender Security pick up on the same stuff as Spybot?

I will Uninstall Avast and see how fast the computer starts. Not sure if it will make a difference because I already disabled all the Avast shields and restarted and it made no difference.
