You might have the latest version of Spybot Professional Edition if you recently purchased and then downloaded it. To check please rightclick Spybot Start Center, click Help at the top, and then About. Please post back and let me know what number is beside version.

Sorry, I forgot all about that. I also have the different version numbers listed in different places after the last Spybot program update. There's an explanation here:

Apparently, all files without code changes since 2.9.82 were files that weren't updated so they carry the old version numbers still. I hope that helps.
