Update Today

Hi i just updated my Spybot today and just after downloading my anti virus flashed up saying viruses had been found. Now im not very good with computers and this got me worried i will put up the log and any help would be greatly appreciated. I know im probably over reacting but better safe than sorry here is my update log for today

23 views and no replies is this update the right 1 what worried me is the site that it came from www.spybotupdate.com because none of my other updates have come from here can someone from the spybot team please answer this as i will need to know if my computer is safe or not. Thank You

Might want to go to the Malware Removal section of the forums. Follow the instructions, and a trained person will help figure whats up with your system.

My updates came from www.spybotupdate.com,on the last update.

Beatson:

www.spybotupdate.com = Safer Networking #1 (Europe) and is a legitimate download site for updates. My anti-virus (McAfee) gave no indication of a problem with the updates.

I would like to suggest that if you ever encounter a similar problem in the future that you include the name of avti-virus product you are using, the file that it detected the virus in and the name of the virus that it detected in that file.
