    Default Disable in Windows statup

Several weeks ago I installed an update to Spybot and when it was finished asked if I would like to run Spybot the next time I started my computer. I answered "yes" and ever since then Spybot has been starting when Windows boots. I have tried changing the Spybot settings - even uninstalled and re-installed and it still runs during startup. How do I get Spybot to stop running at startup?

    Default startup

Once it runs, click "mode" at the top and make sure it is "advanced"
Then click settings on the left, then the other "settings" under that.
Scroll down to "automation" and "system start". Select "no automation".

Spybot asked to run on start-up after downloading updates?Or did you update, and then run a scan?

Spybot asked to run at the next startup after I did the update. It almost seems as though it needs a Registry entry or has an incorrect Registry entry - which is very likely, because our security ssytem might have refused it access to the Registry...(?)
