    Default Memory Dump

When running SpyBot check I get a blue screen when the virus definitions hit 7421 (coolsearch series),
I am new here. I hope you can help. I have read the FAQ and searched the posts but I don't see this problem. It is not a overheating CPU issue.

When running SpyBot check I get a blue screen when the virus definitions hit 7421 (coolsearch series),

I get a blue screen with the following:

    Beginning dump of physical memory
Dumping physical memory to disk: 1, 2, 3….81 (Some kind of counter?)

    STOP: 0x0000008E (0xc0000005, 0xF78E0703, 0xF571EC70, 0x000000000)

    Windrvnt.sys

    Address: F78E8703

Base at F78E7000 (the second time I ran it, it was base at F7DF000)

    Date stamp 409F405C

    Any help?

    Thanks

Thought I recognized that Windrvnt.sys file. It's installed as part of something called Folder Lock, which I researched once in the past.

I recommend looking seriously at your use of this product, since it's known to blue screen systems whenever any file scanner accesses the file, including antivirus.

Here's the thread where I responded to the earlier individual with this application.

Spybot 1.4 crashes in conflict with Folder Lock

Thanks for the help. I had Folder Lock and thought I had gotten rid of it all. I'll follow the posts and advice to fix the problem.

    Thanks again,
