    Default CoolWWWSearch.Service

After the most recent update of definitions, my Spybot detects this entry (CoolWWWSearch.Service) in my registry. The problem is that the relevant key is:

    SMS application launcher

    pointing to:

    \winnt\ms\sms\core\bin\launch32.exe

    Issues:

    1. The directory \winnt\ms\sms\ is empty on my drive (no hidden files or anything!)
    2. I believe this would be a valid location for this application, even though it is not there.
    3. Everything I have read about this spyware suggests it to be an ugly mess, and I haven't noticed any major problems on my system.

    Any thoughts on this?

    Thanks for your help.

even if nothing is in the registry key itself, because the path still exists spybot will continue to find it, until you delete the entire key. Why would you want to keep this key anyway?

Use CCleaner and EasyCleaner to remove any old / invalid registry keys.

Yes it is a false positive, but it only occurs with Spybot S&D 1.3
    please use version 1.4.
