Spy Sheriff Issues

I've been infected with Spy Sheriff. I already have SpyBot S&D and Webroot Spy Sweeper.
Neither have rid me of the problem.
It took over one of my accounts, and changed my background. My other account keeps receiving warnings telling me that i have spyware and to use spy sheriff to get rid of it.

I really need this fixed. Assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I attempted to follow the process however, none of the online scanners worked.

I downloaded SpyWare doctor, and the messages seemed to have stopped popping up on one of my accounts.
It found 841 infections (one sick computer!!) but they say i have to pay to get rid of them.

My task manager is still locked, and i cannot change my background.

I'm not the biggest techie, so advice and help would be greatly apprieciated.

Restart the PC

Launch Notepad (not wordpad), and copy and paste the contents of the code box below into a new text file.
Save it as file name: "fixme.reg" (not including the quotes). Save as file type: All files (*.*) and save it on your Desktop.

Some websites don't seem to be working since i followed the process (msn.entertainment, cbs.com) is this normal?

Bring that problem up later if it is still occuring

Start Hijackthis and place a check next to these items If there.
Close all browser windows and shut down all other programs that show in the taskbar.(even Folders)
