Can you give more information please.
Your Operating System.
Other security programs installed.
When did you install Version 1.4 and was it a clean install or installed over a previous version.
Where in the scan does the computer crash and please describe 'crash'
Any error messages?
Have you experienced other problems with your computer; for instance were you running a scan because you might have an infection.
