AlfaCleaner removal

I recently transitioned to Cox Highspeed internet and their antivirus and spyware protection. I am now have AlfaCleaner and have tried, unsucessfully, to remove it. I have a) uninstalled it, b) run Cox's spyware, which found a Homepage Hijacker and quarantined it c) run Cox's anti-virus and it found 3 viruses and quarantined the, d) ran AOL's spyware which found the Homepage Hijacker AGAIN. I also tried to follow the instructions that the Cox internet people sent me for removing CoolWebSearch which was as close as they could find. They sent me instructions to use a "pestremoval" program as well, but I saw it on spywarewarrior.com as a suspect program and did not run it. Please adivse. Thanks in advance.

This is a support forum for SpyBot, what version is it you have and when was it last updated ?

Please go here and follow instructions.
