Will look at the settings page.
Langage file updating has been assigned to mavchen
One bug found by Buster: problems while fixing files (when trying to terminate running ones from memory, it is trying a bit too strong and hangs there).

Btw, the Firefox 3 project tools entry now has a link for a stand-alone immunization test if anyone wants to test FF3 support right away. If there's positive feedback on it, I'll probably create the next release very soon.

About the same as the beta1, with the exception of the beta2 app always starting on the Settings page (annoying, that).
SSD16beta2 Immunizations=99202 scantime=11:16
SSD16beta1 Immunizations=99202 scantime=11:05
SSD152 Immunizations=55251 scantime=17:22
botchecks=161549 for all
Sorry cannot help with FF3, it is incompatible with 'vintage' Win98, 98SE and ME
.. and I gave up on Opera 9.50 after a few days (bell not worth the candle for my browsing habits )
First of all congratulations on the new beta and now I'm going to report on my experiance with the new beta.
1: I have discovered 2 bugs. The first is a graphical glitch on loading of Spybot which presents its self as a quick flash of the main menu "Spybot logo" and the second (really nasty) bug is, whenever I view the Spybot properties of a file and then press "OK" "Windows Explorer" Crashes.
2: Overall 1.6 Beta 2 is much, much faster than 1.5 but the Virtumonde and Zlob detection scans take ages.
3: The Sytems Settings Protector Error Bug that appears Sometimes on Loading the Tea Timer seems to have gone.
4: I have not experianced any of the Bugs mentioned in the Beta 2 FAQ.
I have tested this Beta on Vista Home Premium SP 1 (Fully updated) with Avast Anti-Virus 4.8, ZoneAlarm Free 7.1 (Vista Edition) and SpywareBlaster 4.1

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Would it be possible to put a "Scan with Spybot" option on the right click menu as a default install option?
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
PS: I also have Windows Defender and AnalogX Script Defender 1.02 installed.

Moving the single/multiple-file scan to something that can be called from the context menu is one of the next steps, but not 1.6 yet. That would come in combination with successful separation of scanning and fixing engines.
As for the crash, nothing /should/ have changed there, but I'll take a look. Another reason for a proper separate context menu called app
Virtumonde and Zlob are about the largest threats :-/
The Virtumonde guys are sometimes updating multiple times a week.

But firefox 3.0 seemed to immunize fine with the stand-alone immunization test.Cookies,popups,etc. are blocked in Firefox under tools->options.
Since there still is no feedback on FF3 and that auto-rating, I might have time for playing around with that stand-alone-alternative
